JUNIOR TALENT CUP & Freetech 5hr
ROUND 1 – Darley Moore sports centre

⏱️ Qualifying
Getting upto pace was paramount today with 15min Practice & immediately into 5min Qualifying. Secured Pole for the opening race.

🏁Race 1

Got a great start holding P1 for a few laps, was exchanging places with @luke.fitchett_7 during the race. On the last lap onto the back straight got in front of Luke, but he Slipstreamed me back into the final corner.

🏁Race 2

Starting in P2 got into first & worked on pulling a gap from the group. Lead the whole race & had 1.4 second gap at the Line.

🏁Race 3 Final

Good start holding first, myself & fitchet pulled away & Luke got into the lead around lap 4. Stayed with him until the final lap & overtook going into the final corner. Unfortunately Luke crashed behind me but he was ok, was a great tactical race 🥇#HKC217 🥈@fpracing_199 🥉 @lakenpayne_41

🏁 5hr Endurance
Wow where to start, starting P49 from the random draw we had a ECU failure on the opening lap. I limped round to the paddock & we quickly changed the ECU but was 13min behind P48! Time to dig deep, & put in some hot laps.
By lead lap 25 we was P46, lap 50 we was P36, lap 75 we was P26, lap 100 was P16, Lap 150 was P11, Lap 175 was P6 & the final Lap 207 we was a incredible P5 & was +14 laps behind the winners. I got the 2nd fastest lap in the Endurance 1:17.9.

What an experience & opening round to the Championship, the racing was fantastic & endurance was incredible.

Huge thanks to my teammate @luke.fitchett_7 & the @powertech_uk team with @fpracing_199 & James on the pit wall the whole 5hr endurance race keeping us updated with the board.
