Great day with perfect weather, pushed on, improved on my 110cc PB from last year, felt comfortable on the 160cc too.

⏱️ Qualifying

Rolled into 160cc qualifying & unfortunately somebody crashed out & brake fluid was on the track, myself & Daniel come round & both low sided out on oblivion. The session was red flagged to clean the fluid but unfortunately I didn’t get back out. Qualified P6

110cc qualifying we was sure it was going to rain again after a flash shower so opted for wets, unfortunately it didn’t but I pushed on anyway qualifying P2 only 0.066 from pole with wets on so I’ll take that. The tyres had been completely destroyed !!!!

🏁 Race 1 (Sprint)

160cc MiniGP up first, got a great start from P6 to p4 into turn 1. Kept position few battling around me but hung onto p4 with a group of riders behind me. On about lap 9 it started to rain slightly then the heavens opened just as I entered the final corner & whoosh, had a massive slide, recovered it but just couldn’t turn enough & bumped into the wall. Around this time another rider had come off before me & multiple riders after me as we was all on slicks.Then the race was red flagged due to weather conditions. They rolled back the result. P4 open class & 🥈 in the Ohvale 160cc Cup.

110cc MiniGP race was up one session after the 160 race, my team quickly put on wets incase I wanted to race after my crash. We had a good chat and debrief i decide I wanted to race the 110cc. Starting P2 on wets, I pushed as hard as I could but clearly our gamble on wets again hadn’t paid off. Just couldn’t keep pace up and was sat in P3 but pressure was increasing on me as Max was closing me down fast, & he took me on the final lap going into the boot. Destroying another set of wets 🤦🏻‍♂️. P4 open class & 🥈 in the ohvale 110cc Cup.

🏁Race 2

New day, wash out in the morning & riders falling like skittles we opted to miss the warm on the 160 & did a lap on the 110 & it started raining again so pulled in.

110cc MiniGP conditions had cleared & was ready for action. Starting P4 got a good start took Kirk on lap 1 & was onto Parker, settling back into my rhythm took the lead on lap 7 then set a PB 53.6 got away from Parker & took 🥇 open class & 🥇 in the ohvale 110 Cup.

160cc MiniGP, set up just didn’t feel right. Was squirming all over. Really disappointed but had to just roll with it. P9 open class & 🥉 in the Ohvale 160cc Cup.

🏁 Race 3

110cc MiniGP From pole lead the race pushed to get away from Parker & Kirk with weekend PB of 53.4 then maintained my gap to Parker. 🥇 open class & 🥇 ohvale 110cc Cup.

160cc MiniGP set up tweaks felt better, grip improved over the race set my PB 53.9 which was a decent jump from where I was over the weekend. P6 open class & 🥉 ohvale 160 Cup.
