⏱️Practice

Nice weather & plenty of track time we really enjoyed practice, dialling in settings & gearing during the sessions did my PB on a 110cc beating last years PB 51.7 early in the day. The 160 also felt great compared at Red Lodge.

⏱️Qualifying

Warm up went well on both bikes & was confident on both bikes. First up was the 160cc qualifying which went really well & had was really please to pip Parker for P2 front row which I think is first time on the 160cc I’ve started in front of him. On the 110cc my PB in qualifying to start in Pole position.

Race 1 (Sprint)

Got a really good start into turn 1 & lead the race. Checking my pit board to see my gap & been consistent with my lap times to take the 🥇 in both ohvale 110 Cup & Open Class.

🏁 Ohvale 160 Cup / 160cc Open Class

Race 1 (Sprint)

Unfortunately on the formation lap I had a puncture, I actually thought it was the steering dampener on full but sadly it wasn’t. Had to pull off to the side & watch the race. It later transpired it was a faulty tire valve that was leaking air. Really gutted as starting on the front row in the 160cc was a little goal I’d set for the weekend & not to get to start the race after all my hard work on this bike was disappointing.

⏱️Moving onto race 2 & 3 was really confident again on both bikes and in the morning warm up I set my PB on both bikes before the rain come.

Unfortunately Races 2 & 3 for all juniors was cancelled due to oil spill on the track in an earlier session.
